HOMELESS WOMEN - St. Paulus Women's Shelter, A Woman's Place

Women in need of emergency shelter for a variety of reasons; escaping abusive situations, ending of relationships, loss of employment, substance use, mental/emotional illness will find a safe environment at A Women's Place. Dedicated to serving the single woman with special needs in an atmosphere of dignity and respect, women will find a warm bed, nutritious meals and a supportive environment where they will be treated with dignity and respect.

Within the atmosphere personal freedom and growth is encouraged. A Woman's Place is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive refuge for women with special needs. This includes individual counseling, early recovery groups, case management, psychological support groups, HIV support groups, HIV education and women's issues group.

Dormitory style setting will allow women to stay indefinitely and beds are on a first come first serve basis with the facility being open 24 hours per day. A cup of coffee will always be available in the drop in center at A Woman's Place.
