SPIRITUAL EXPRESSION AT ST. PAULUS

St. Paulus invites people to be a part of a mission to create a collective understanding of all communities, inclusive of culture, race, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status and religious background. As such, St. Paulus is the home of a diverse spiritual community representing many spiritual belief systems and world views. Although its spiritual roots were planted in the Biblically conservative world view of 1 9th century German Lutheranism, St. Paulus now embraces a far broader world view. A Mission Statement of seeking to be an inclusive community of God's diverse people describes the basis for our individual and corporate spiritual growth.

Every Sunday morning at 10:00 am a Sunday Celebration gathers together people of Christian and non-Christian backgrounds. The Celebration combines music and worship styles of a traditional and contemporary nature. Following the worship gathering, people converse around a Hospitality Hour and are invited to participate in one of our Sunday Discussion groups, which have discussed such divergent things as the Biblical accounts of the life of Christ, to a study of Comparative Religions, and what can be learned by a study of Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Native Spiritualities. St. Paulus is a place for people to grow spiritually and a place for people to manifest their spiritual well-being in the world - in other words, a place for people to "Walk their talk" when it comes to working for the greater good and making this world a better place for all people.
