Artist's Statement

I combine social or personal content with technical mastery, and incorporate found objects into my works. When I paint on found objects, I create unique synergy between the image and the non-traditional surface it is painted on. The found objects are selected for their metaphorical content so that both the image and its support contribute equally to the reading of the finished work.
